Your Ceremony
You will find yourself spoilt for choice when choosing your
ceremony location. There is no shortage of tranquil ceremony spaces to say, "I do".
From the riverside at Platypus Point with the relaxing
sounds of the mountain river, or the Majestic Gum Tree on the manicured lawns. There is also the intimate Woolshed Gardens, or the Oak Tree at Magpies Landing and the Ironbark Timber Deck catering for all weather conditions with A-line trusses and fairy lights - the choice is yours.
Our professional and passionate events team will set up your ceremony at your chosen location on the morning of your wedding.
Function Room
The "Woolshed" style function room will handle parties from 30 to 150 guests and can be decorated by us in various styles, from formal to authentic country atmosphere. This room has a large area for dancing and a stage as well.

You will be delighted with the high standard of our catering. We always discuss the individual menu requirements with you and design a menu to fit your taste buds.

We can help you arrange all the wedding components you may need: hair and makeup, floral arrangements, photography, videography, local historic churches or wedding celebrant, entertainment, and even a horse and carriage or harpist by the river.

“Beyond Expectations” We cannot be more thrilled with our experience at Riverwood Downs. The location is breathtaking and took our breathe away each time we were on site. Sally was our Event Coordinator and exceeded all expectations, she made the day run smoothly and stress free. It was like she was part of our family and we couldn’t of asked for anyone better. We choose the gorgeous river for the ceremony but there are so many amazing areas each with its own beauty, the Woolshed was simply amazing with a wonderful deck area, just gorgeous. The food was incredible, and our guest had so many positive things to say about their meals.
